A man has been charged with the murder of a  26-year-old man in Barnsley at the weekend.

John Doran, 31, of New Street, Darfield, will apper at Barnsley Magistrates Court tomorrow, charged with the murder of Ian Stewart, also of New Street, on Sunday evening, 4 May 2008.

Mr Stewart, a gardener, was married and  father of a ten-month-old baby,  He died from a single stab wound after an incident near the homes of both men.
