A Barnsley woman’s environmental offences have cost her over £300 following a case brought to Barnsley Magistrates court by Barnsley Council.
On Thursday, January 26, Miss Toyah Pritchard, 31, of Royd Avenue, Millhouse Green, Penistone, pleaded guilty to an offence of fly-tipping waste under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, Section 33 (1a).
The council received a report in February 2011, that waste had been dumped on a track off Annat Royd Lane, near Ingbirchworth reservoir, Penistone.
A Regulatory Services field officer investigated the matter and found evidence in the waste which lead them to an uninhabited property in Deepcar, Sheffield.
